We have various flying teams which go all over the country and sometimes abroad to demonstrate the skills and characteristics of their species.  Each bird is carefully picked, trained and prepared for flying in public displays.

Our Flying Teams

We have a number of displays that we provide for events around the country and these can also be seen at The Raptor World centre.

Each display hosts a variety of birds from  hawks, falcons, owls and buzzards.  Displays usually last around 40 minutes but can be tailored to suit the needs on the day.

Among the birds in the flying team are:

Other Photos

This is a selection of photos of birds in our collection, they capture some of the more memorable moments we have had working with them.

Among the larger falcons, Peregrines especially, enjoy bathing.  Even if it's just in a puddle!

Got to do the hard to reach parts!                       Yeah.... Nice and Shiney!

Whilst working for a falcon breeding facility, our director took this shot to show what life is like living with young imprinted falcons.  These 2 youngsters have obviously found that the kitchen can be a warm and comfortable place!
